Senior Ammonia Tech
Position: Senior Ammonia Refrigeration Technician

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ammonia Refrigeration Technician with 5–10 years of hands-on experience in industrial ammonia (NH₃) refrigeration systems. This individual will be responsible for leading service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system optimization efforts for our clients. You’ll serve as a technical mentor to junior technicians and play a key role in maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on ammonia refrigeration systems (reciprocating/screw compressors, evaporators, condensers, vessels, etc.)
- Conduct PSM/RMP-related inspections and documentation
- Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Ensure systems are operating efficiently and in compliance with IIAR and OSHA standards
- Support system commissioning and start-up of new or retrofit installations
- Provide on-site training and guidance to junior technicians
- Participate in on-call emergency response rotation
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with customers and project managers
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of direct experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems
- Strong knowledge of IIAR standards, PSM/RMP, and applicable codes (OSHA, EPA)
- RETA Certification (CIRO, CRST) preferred
- Familiarity with control systems (Microthermal, Danfoss, Frick, etc.) is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a safety-first mindset
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel locally and respond to after-hours calls when needed

Position Summary:
We are looking for motivated individuals interested in starting a career in the refrigeration and HVAC trade. As an Entry-Level Refrigeration Technician, you’ll work alongside experienced techs and receive hands-on training in service, installation, and maintenance of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior technicians with service and maintenance of refrigeration systems
- Perform basic mechanical tasks including cleaning, oiling, and replacing parts
- Learn how to read gauges, wiring diagrams, and system schematics
- Support installation of piping, electrical components, and equipment
- Help maintain a clean and safe job site
- Participate in ongoing training and safety programs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Good work ethic and team attitude
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, rooftops, or in tight spaces
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Interest in pursuing a long-term career in refrigeration or HVAC
Preferred But Not Required:
- Technical school coursework in HVAC/R
- EPA 608 Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Senior Refrigeration Controls Tech

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Refrigeration Controls Technician with 5–10 years of hands-on experience installing, programming, and troubleshooting control systems used in industrial refrigeration applications. This role involves fieldwork, system startups, technical leadership, and working with multiple platforms such as Frick, Danfoss, MicroThermal, Emerson E2, and Tridium Niagara.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the installation and commissioning of refrigeration control systems and BMS integrations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot control wiring, sensor networks, PLCs, HMIs, and network interfaces
- Program and fine-tune setpoints, alarms, sequences, and energy optimization routines
- Interpret wiring diagrams, control schematics, and P&IDs
- Interface with clients, engineers, and field teams to support system performance
- Mentor junior technicians and participate in training sessions
- Maintain documentation, commissioning reports, and service logs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations (IIAR, NEC, etc.)
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of experience with industrial refrigeration controls systems
- Proficiency with control platforms such as:
- Frick Quantum HD/FX
- Danfoss AK-SM or SM880
- Emerson E2 / Einstein
- MicroThermal / Sporlan
- Tridium Niagara Framework (AX/N4)
- Strong understanding of Ethernet/IP, Modbus, BACnet, and control networking
- Ability to read and mark up control drawings and loop diagrams
- Familiar with system integration and remote monitoring best practices
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
- RETA or similar certification is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willingness to travel to job sites and participate in on-call rotation
